Sailor’s Music Festival

Already hosting live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout the summer season, Sailor’s Music Festival will raise the bar on this weekend to bring Niall McCabe to headline our Singer Songwriter night on Thursday, Rack House Pilfer to headine Friday night and TheAmazing Apples to Headline Saturday night.
Unlike most gigs hosted by Sailor’s Bar, these are ticketed events.

Niall McCabe was born on Clare Island and now lives mostly in Cork where is making a name for himsleft. Niall has released two albums and has a number of hit singles.
Rack House Pilfer
The rise of RACKHOUSE PILFER has been unstoppable. Awarded ‘Live Band of the Year’ by Jägermeister & Hotpress Magazine soon after releasing their self penned album ‘Love and Havoc’. They have become Festival favourites across Europe and have received rave reviews for their energetic live shows, harmony-vocals & original songs. Currently they are working towards album #3. RACKHOUSE PILFER are an incredible act best experienced live!
The Amazing Apples are a 5 piece multi instrumentalist Indie/Folk band from Galway, Ireland. They just released their debut album, ‘A Little Sense’, which was recorded in Grouse Lodge with renowned Irish music producer, Joe Chester (The Coronas, Ryan Sheridan, Hermitage Green).The album went straight to no. 3 in the Irish Independent Charts, and 27th overall on the Official Irish Charts.
Among many others, they are set to play on the main stage at Independence Festival this year—and the Sailor’s Music Festival!
We will have two additional gigs to bookend this year’s festival. On Wednesday, Swedish singer-songwriter Eli Gauden will kick this year’s festival off and local singer/songwriters Donal Moran and Rory McCabe will close the festival on Sunday night.
Also on Sunday at 6pm, Sharon O Grady and Saint & Sinners will launch their new CD.
